How beautiful are these handmade kawakawa earrings!! Made locally from rubber which is a sustainable resource, and handpainted.
These earrings are hardy and durable, but avoid getting wet or chemical exposure eg hairspray and perfume.
Approximately 30mm wide.
No two are alike so please allow for and enjoy a little artistic difference! The finish isnt perfect - rubber is notoriously difficult to achieve a clean finish when painting, but it adds to the overall charm of the leaf.
This is handmade in Hawkes Bay by wahine Māori textile designer Lee Olsen, and come presented on one of her AWE backing cards.
