The Christchurch Repertory Theatre opened as the Radiant Hall in September 1929. Designed by architect Harry Francis Willis, with financial support from Thomas Edmonds. The building has cultural significance for its contribution to Christchurch's amateur theatre movement, and has architectural and aesthetic significance as an important example of the Spanish Mission Revival style.
Demolished in 2011 due to damage sustained in the February 2011 earthquake.
