"Talking Tiki" is an educational soft toy that teaches simple Te Reo Māori kupu (words) in a unique and fun way.
He "says" 75 Māori kupu/words and phrases with their English translations, in six categories: Greetings, Family and People, Body Parts, Days of the Week, Numbers and Colours.
Note that he uses transliterations for days of the week.
Talking Tiki comes with an instruction booklet with the playlist of Māori kupu/words and phrases and their English translations, so you can follow along with the playlist while playing. Press the button, and Tiki will say the word in Māori, leave a gap for you to say the word, and then says the translation of the word in English. You can double press the button to repeat a word, or long press to return to the start. The speaker is an adult male.
